Apply/Register

This seems self-explanatory. You've polished, edited, fabuloused your resume for us, so you've applied to a job or registered through our online portal. Your resume then makes its way to us via email.

Job Match

We are a client-facing business so we’re actively seeking people that fit our client’s requests. If you’re a fit for a role, we’ll reach out via email or phone to chat further about the opportunity with you. If the opportunity aligns with your career trajectory, we’ll continue the discussion from there. If you’re not a fit for a role, we’ll do our best to let you know that so we can keep your job hunt respected and honest.

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.

Interview

We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.

Copywriter

You are not the average wordsmith. You are a Copywriter! Although you can bang out good copy like nobody’s business, you love to pull yourself from behind a screen and interact with the rest of your team. You have an uncanny knack of putting strategic thoughts into carefully crafted persuasive copy, at a “get er done” pace with noteworthy accuracy, consistency, and quality. Beyond buffing your skills in grammar and syntax, you keep yourself moving knowing that exercise stimulates awesomeness in the creative wordy parts of your brain.

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a lifestyle athletic wear company, in their search for a Copywriter extraordinaire. This role is a full-time permanent position and will support several key departments in bringing their work to life. About The Role

This is the best Copywriting gig in town and requires a team player who’s self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce top-notch accurate work consistently on time. The key areas this role will serve include:

Creative - Brainstorm ideas, concepts and translate them into clear persuasive copy consistent with the Brand’s tone and voice
Implementation - Ability to write compelling copy that stirs emotion in the reader persuading them to act, partner with creative project team generating killer concepts and ideas, oversee campaigns from start to finish
Deliverables - Amend, revise and develop campaigns in response to feedback from Creative Director and other partnering teams, proofread copy checking for spelling and grammar
On-Going - Stay up to date with cultural trends and complete creative administrative tasks like daily time tracking via Harvest

About You

4+ years experience as a professional copywriter, with a minimum of one year in advertising
You have a flashy portfolio of work that demonstrates your experience and abilities in digital, social, experiential, traditional and emerging media
You get a kick out of working on multiple projects at the same time and aren’t afraid to juggle diverse writing demands
You have exemplary communication skills, a ridiculous eye for detail, a positive can-do approach and a flair for creative problem solving
You strive for a daily dose of exercise to keep the words coming and the creative juices flowing
