Senior Digital Marketing Lead

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a global company in the automotive industry, in their search for a Senior Digital Marketing Lead. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Strategist will be the company’s expert in digital marketing, with a strong focus on data and analytics. About the role:

The Senior Digital Marketing Lead will expand the company’s digital marketing department to make an impact across the organization. Focus will be on the development of best practices in digital strategy with a focus on using data and analytics to support campaign development, report out on KPIs, etc. Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop digital marketing systems and processes based on data-driven benchmarks and best practice
  • Lead digital strategy for all marketing campaigns to maximize and achieve results for clients, including content to strategy development and presenting campaign plans that reflect business objectives
  • Create campaign execution plans/timelines for the digital team to ensure work in delivered on time and on budget
  • Be the subject matter expert on digital marketing for the organization, and advise on applicable trends and strategic direction
  • Responsible for evaluating and improving digital campaign metrics (including email campaigns), and implementing changes across multiple campaigns

About you:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including hands-on execution of running campaigns on a wide range of digital platforms and ad networks
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new processes and tools for campaign execution and tracking, and to train others on their use
  • Strong understanding of using data and analytics to support building new campaigns and further iterations, with experience in A/B testing and using continual performance analysis, using current analytics/tracking systems
  • Versatile and creative content creator with ability to identify customer profiles and target effective content for appropriate channel
  • Experienced in paid social advertising including strategy, execution and budgets
  • Practical experience with Google tools (e.g. Trends, AdWords, Keyword Analyzer, Tag Manager, etc.) and other social posting tools (e.g. SEMRush, Hotjar, Facebook Audience Insights, etc.)
