We’re pleased to partner with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada in their search for a Marketing Communications Specialist who will drive the copywriting, content strategy and project coordination for a variety of marketing materials. The right person for the role has a solid background in marketing and copywriting within the B2B SaaS industry.

This is a hybrid role that requires working 3 days a week from the Vancouver, BC office. 

About the role 

  • Manage the creation and execution of marketing communications campaigns and programs, including multi-lingual email marketing, social media, digital ad campaigns, print ads, print collateral, virtual events, internal communications, co-op advertising projects to ensure delivery on budget and before deadline. 
  • Brief and manage graphic design and marketing technology team members across the company, along with external agencies, freelancers and translators. Coordinate with other managers, directors and leadership to ensure project objectives and timelines are met. 
  • Build and manage multiple project schedules and campaign calendars. 
  • Write strategic, clear and compelling copy for a large volume of materials and campaigns (e.g., digital and print marketing, lead generation email campaigns/landing pages, ad copy, press releases, market updates, SEO-optimized website, blog content, social media posts). 
  • Develop engaging internal communications to encourage engagement, program buy-in, C-suite updates, intranet updates, product launches, training and presentation materials, and more. 
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure materials align with brand voice and quality across all channels. 
  • Plan and manage a high-volume of external and internal email campaigns, including managing timelines, writing copy, sourcing/researching content, proofreading and reviewing quality.  
  • Develop strategy, editorial schedules and content calendars for all organic social media calendars. 
  • Manage content across all social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and timing of content. 
  • Monitor, post and engage in community dialogue across select social media platforms.  
  • Identify, monitor and analyze performance reports and trends, proposing and implementing improvements. 
  • Support public relations opportunities by coordinating materials and interviews. 
  • Draft compelling, concise press releases and media pitches that capture industry and/or media attention for property listings. 
  • Champion the brand across all touchpoints and ensure brand integrity is maintained across all marketing materials. 

The salary range for the role is $70,000 - $80,000 along with 3 weeks of vacation and extended benefits. 

About you  

  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing communications, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or another related field. 
  • Strong, versatile copywriter with a knack for capturing brand voice and translating complex ideas into simple, compelling language and calls to action. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks independently and as part of a team.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for strategic writing. 
  • Strong team player who’s eager to contribute to a friendly, supportive and high-performing team. 
  • Familiar with email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot), social media management platforms (e.g., Later, HootSuite), CMS (e.g., WordPress) and basic graphic design software. 
  • Experience in tech industry is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience with project management software (Asana, Monday.com) is preferred.
