This role supports developing the company’s main brand using consumer insights and data and connecting subsequent marketing initiatives to support business operations and growth. About the role:

The Senior Associate Brand Manager focuses on four areas of marketing operations: consumer knowledge through research and insights; development of consumer-focused business strategies; conducting deep analysis of available consumer data to develop strategy and tactics; and development of operations strategies in alignment with existing business systems and planning cycle. Major areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop insights about consumers through annual reviews, research, and analysis of competitive landscape
  • Create business briefs for consumer engagement and communication within campaign
  • Hold ownership of brand development, including developing objectives and strategies for media
  • Collaborate with internal teams to innovate on retailer strategies
  • Develop action plans for brand development based on brand analysis, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Optimize marketing initiatives to drive business revenues and profits

About you:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related area
  • 3-7 years’ experience in brand management, with a focus on Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Strong strategic thinker with capacity to see the big picture and the focus to break it down into current-day strategies and marketing initiatives to support company vision
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex data into useful information to solve business problems with a range of solution options
  • Good business acumen with solid knowledge of current marketplace, best practice, and business trends, and ability to apply to the company’s strategies for growth and success
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, working effectively across all levels of an organization, with keen listening and facilitation skills
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to plan work into measurable and actionable steps
