We’re pleased to partner with our client, a high-growth tech start-up, in their search for a Social Media Manager. This individual will oversee a variety of client accounts while also supporting departmental growth, optimizing processes, and exploring new ways to expand the company’s capabilities.  

About the workplace 

This is a full-time hybrid role that requires working 3 days a week from the Vancouver, BC office. 

About the role 

  • Develop and implement social media strategies and creative campaigns to achieve client goals. 
  • Design, develop and curate content for various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) 
  • Monitor and engage with client social media channels for comments, messages and mentions, fostering meaningful conversations and building relationships with followers. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, acting as a point of contact and strategic advisor for all content and ad management matters. 
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure client goals are met. 
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience and maintain client satisfaction. 
  • Evaluate and improve internal workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability in managing multiple client accounts and improve client satisfaction. 
  • Identify opportunities for growth with existing clients, collaborating closely with the sales team to find and pursue these possibilities. 
  • Keep up to date on social media and influencer marketing trends to help clients optimize performance. 
  • Serve as a thought leader by contributing to the company’s content channels. 

The salary range for the role is $55,000 - $75,000 plus health, dental and vision benefits and other perks. 

About you  

  • 3+ years of experience in a social media management role, preferably in an agency environment. 
  • 3+ years of proven experience developing and implementing marketing strategies. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field. 
  • Proficient knowledge in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. 
  • Strong creative design skills and competence in using various design platforms. 
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and strategies. 
  • Excellent communication and project management skills. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong systems thinker with a knack for evaluating data, drawing meaningful insights and making strategic recommendations. 
  • Strong grasp of current digital marketing processes with a track record of successfully ideating, scoping, building, implementing and measuring strategies and campaigns. 
  • Experience with influencer marketing is an asset. 
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools is an asset.
