Copywriter

We’re pleased to partner with a successful retail company in their search for a Copywriter to create and carry out engaging, brand-centric copy across all platforms, including websites, emails, paid ads, and social media.  

About the workplace 

This is a full-time, permanent, in-office role that requires working from the Vancouver, BC headquarters. 

About the role 

• Develop clear, compelling promotional campaign copy for various marketing channels (website, blog, social media, email, retail assets, digital ads) that reflects the brand, engages audiences and educates customers.  
• Research and build a comprehensive understanding of the product range. 
• Optimize SEO within copy to enhance online visibility. 
• Interpret copywriting briefs to meet project requirements while adjusting content for diverse marketing channels and target audiences. 
• Adapt copy for North American audiences in English and French. 
• Stay up to date on relevant current events and trends to propose strategies that boost brand awareness. 

The salary range for this role is $60,000– $70,000 and includes benefits, product discounts, and more. 

About you  

• 2+ years of copywriting experience in a professional setting 
• Degree in creative writing, journalism, communications, arts, marketing or a similar discipline 
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills 
• A strong collaborator who's open to constructive feedback 
• Skilled at managing multiple projects at a time 
• Previous experience in retail and/or e-commerce is preferred
