Senior Account Executive

You are a hunter who lands the deals through relentless hard work, understanding your clients’ needs, and having great relationships with your accounts – past, present, and future. With a long history in SaaS, you understand your role in solving client problems through a partnership approach. Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, an established but growing SaaS firm, in their search for a Senior Account Executive. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales in Vancouver, BC, the Sr. Account Exec may be based in Vancouver, Toronto, NYC, or another remote location. About the role:

  • In a hunter sales role, you’ll proactively reach out and connect with potential Enterprise clients, and follow up to qualify, acquire, and grow strong relationships
  • Use a variety of marketing initiatives to convert qualified leads within your sales territory
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to your territory, with the constant goal to exceed sales targets and continue to build relationships
  • Deliver solutions to new and existing clients through online presentations and demonstrations
  • Build and maintain an actives sales pipeline within Salesforce, generate regular sales reports

About you:

  • 8+ years’ sales experience in B2B Saas, ideally to enterprise accounts
  • Proven and repeated success in the full sales cycle, with an outstanding track record of both high value tech solution deals and small license deals in large enterprise accounts
  • Strong written skills, with proven ability to develop successful RFP responses
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with excellent face-to-face and online presentation style, and persuasive negotiation ability
  • Hard worker who is self-directed, motivated, and constantly striving in an environment that is both fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Adept with technology including online meetings and presentations, CRM software
