Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a North American software provider, in their search for a Marketing Specialist. This role works closely with the company’s external marketing consultancy provider and will implement marketing programs to drive qualified leads and engage current customers. About the role:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible to execute marketing tactics and continually measure for impact on potential and current customers. Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with external partners
  • Content creation and distribution of digital and email campaigns to drive engagement 
  • Maintain website content and manage paid social advertising, with aim to convert traffic and drive leads through content and strategy
  • Plan company events e.g. tradeshows, including budget, bookings, marketing materials
  • Manage social media profiles and broadcasts
  • Lead production of print collateral for marketing and sales
  • Collaborate with sales team on content ideas and strategy to support sales cycle
  • Develop and present reports for the executive team, compiled from tracked metrics and other data related to sales conversions

About you:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or communications
  • Technical proficiency in using tools such as WordPress, MailChimp, and marketing automation
  • Experienced Google Analytics user with the ability to create and access custom reports to inform decision making in marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with strong ability to work effectively alone, in project groups, and as a member of a remote team
