Head of Brand & Marketing

Abbotsford, BC, Canada
Full Time
Marketing
Experienced
If you’re a senior brand and marketing leader who values clarity, credibility, and good judgment over hype, this role may be for you.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is proud to partner with Safetek Profire & Hub Fire Engines, in the search for a Head of Brand & Marketing.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that in public safety, a brand is built on trust, not just a campaign calendar. Reporting directly to the President, you’ll own the brand and marketing function end-to-end, shaping a strategy that reflects the company’s values and genuinely supports the firefighters and first responders who rely on these vehicles every day.

Initially, as a team of one, you’ll set direction, make priorities clear, and execute with intention — defining how the company shows up with customers, partners, and the broader industry. This role calls for sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to connect brand, customer experience, and business outcomes without noise or hype.

About Safetek Profire & Hub Fire Engines

Safetek Profire & Hub Fire Engines serves the people who keep our communities safe. As a Canadian, family-owned organization, they take pride in building high-quality fire-rescue vehicles and long-term partnerships grounded in trust, accountability, and performance.
This is a values-driven business operating in a high-stakes industry where credibility matters, and where marketing plays a critical role in reducing risk, building confidence, and supporting informed decision-making.

  • Ensure consistency across all channels, partners, and touchpoints
  • Balance brand evolution with continuity and trust
  • Define, protect, and evolve brand positioning, voice, and visual identity

  • Translate frontline customer experience into credible, useful marketing narratives

  • Influence across Parts, Sales, Service, and leadership
  • Take ownership for outcomes, including setbacks and course corrections
You bring:

  • Experience operating independently or leading small, high-impact functions

  • Confidence making decisions with incomplete information
  • Respect for the responsibility that comes with public safety and municipal customers
Experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or public-sector adjacent environments is an asset, but mindset and judgment matter more than industry experience.
